Furla AW12 Reversible Shopper

Here's a shopper that caught our eye from the AW12 presentation by Furla. It's a versatile style which is reversible so you can either go for two tone look or go for a zebra pattern statement. We love the crimson and purple colourway above and it also comes in black and neon, fuchsia, yellow, orange, metallics, petrol blue and teal! Materials included nappa leather, crocodile, PVC, translucent rubber.  The zebra print was accompanied by dalmatian patterns and micro prints. We'll feature more pictures soon so you can decide on your favourite!

Celine SS12 Collection

Here are some highlights from Celine's SS12 collection now in stores. We love the relaxed over sized gusset construction which has become a key look in it's own right. The Trapeze shape is very chic and comes in a variety of colour and material combinations. We especially like the electric blue colour block featured below - goes great with the yellow jacket! The mixing of croc texture really works well and the raised edge detailing is a chic understated feature. The tote bags featured at the end of the post are executed in typical Celine style - clean lines, minimal sleek detailing and uber premium material combinations. Now it's just deciding what colour to go for! :)

Gucci - AW12 @ Milan Fashion week

Gucci showed their 'Gothic glam' inspired collection for AW12 - understated sexy, romantic with a touch of androgyny and darkness that referenced the 1940's era. We love the little equestrian influences used on the on the metal hardware styling and the tone on tone use of Gothic style patterns. Shiny croc texture also featured strongly - we especially like the bold hobo shape featured below. Vintage inspired frames and detailing really feel strong for the season ahead. Our favourite is the black hobo below in the back stage shot, we love the pattern and have it on our wish list for this Autumn!

Fendi - AW12 @ Milan Fashion week

Fendi presented a plethora of exotic skins down the catwalk for their AW12 collection in a warmly muted, wintery colour palette that Karl Lagerfeld called “the warm glow before snow”.  Colour and texture blocking were prominent in bold tote shapes mixing combinations of pony skin, crocodile, felt, heavy corduroy, patent leather and studding. Jacquard patterns also featured on iPad cases below which designers are starting to focus on more now that they are becoming so popular. Overall we felt there were many covetable pieces which we look forward to seeing this Autumn!

Prada - AW12 @ Milan Fashion week

Prada showed their AW12 collection at Milan Fashion week and we've selected a few highlights from the  show below! The show felt quite dark and futuristic with sci-fi inspired make up, bold prints, layering, and 3D embellishments.  We really like the retro jacquard which feels like it's going to be quite a few trend for the upcoming season. There were also some vintage inspired shape which had an equestrian feel which we also liked in a gorgeus shiny choc leather.  No doubt we'll be seeing a lot more of this collection later in the year!
